I was asked to participate in a Day in the Life Project by Iris Hu. Her project was inspired by a Japanese Artist. For her project, she asked around 80 photographers from around the world to photograph a few hours of their life on May 22nd. She then took a few of their favorite photos that documented their day and put them all together. It showcases the differences and similarities among people from all over the world during one single day.

On the day we were supposed to document our lives, I ended up doing something I do often, though not daily: Location Scouting. The project was supposed to be documentary, so no staged photos. So I took photos like I normally would when location scouting or enjoying my time outdoors, but made sure to get more photos of myself.
On May 22nd, from 1 pm until 5 pm, I was in Bandera, Texas, to explore some of their parks and river access. I’m always on the lookout for places where families can get in rivers or creeks safely for their summer family photos. Oftentimes, these locations are outside of San Antonio. Bandera is about 45 miles west of San Antonio.
Since I was only able to share a handful of the images I took that day, I wanted to share more here. I decided to share them in a collage format to give a glimpse into my day, rather than sharing each image one at a time.
