The Process
01 | INQUIRE
Ready to work with me and make some beautiful images together? Fill out my inquiry form here and let me know what type of session you're interested, when you'd like your session to take place, and a little about your vision. You can include any questions you have, too.
02 | book your session
Once an inquiry form is received, I respond within 48 hours with more information about the booking process, what you can expect from your session, and your contract and invoice. Once you pay your retainer and sign that contract, you're booked!
03 | we PLAN YOUR SESSION
Once your session date is secured, I help you plan for your family photo session. You’ll receive guides with tips from me on how to choose the right location for your family photos, on preparing wardrobes, and how to have a fun session.

Your Investment
Your investment covers our time together, typically one hour, longer if it takes place in your home, as well as all images delivered in your gallery. Prior to your session, you will receive guides to help you prepare for your session with me, and a questionnaire to help me learn more about your family. I provide help picking a location that is the best fit for your family and tips on what to wear. After your session, you’ll receive your images in an online gallery within 3-4 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many images do I receive?
As an all-inclusive photographer, I deliver all edited images that I deem worthy of being delivered. This is usually a minimum of 70 images in a gallery. All are available for download.
Do you sell prints?
I deliver digital images via an online gallery where clients can purchase prints, canvases, albums, and other items at an additional cost. All items are shipped directly to the client.
Do you offer mini sessions?
I occasionally offer a mini session in the spring and in the fall, but I do not guarantee these. I announce mini-sessions through my newsletter and on Instagram.
Do you provide props of any kind for your sessions?
No. I will have blankets available for my families to sit on but I prefer my photo sessions to focus on the families in nature. I do not bring couches, benches, flowers, or signs. I do not bring anything that would harm the environment. I do not have clothing, wraps, or accessories for newborns.
Will you edit body parts, acne, teeth, scars, etc?
I do not alter one’s appearance in post beyond removing small blemishes that would disappear naturally within a week or two’s time. I will only remove acne, temporary scars, and other minor blemishes.
How far do you travel for sessions?
I will travel anywhere within the United States but require a travel fee. For locations that do not require an overnight stay, I charge a per-mile fee for locations outside a 50-mile radius of my zip code. For overnight stays within Texas, there is an $800 fee. For sessions outside of Texas, there is a $1500 travel fee.

Laura shot maternity and newborn photos for us and just sent photos from a Christmas tree farm mini-session. During the newborn and Christmas sessions, we weren't sure what we would get with a fussy baby and now an unsure toddler but both times Laura managed to capture beautiful images that really show our daughter's personality.
